I came across this stunning Chateau and was impressed with its flamboyant mix of fine furnishings and impressive decorative art. According to its website, the ‘Chateau de la Goujeonnerie’ overlooks 18 acres of land and was built in 1872 by the architect, Arsene Charier. The site noted that the owners (Les Trois Garcons) acquired the Chateau in 2006 in a derelict state and have since restored it with 21st Century comforts.
I find the décor to be quite striking yet classical, although some may describe it as eclectic and whimsical. The Chateau can be rented and would be perfect for the most unique and memorable luxury wedding venue!
